毕业于西安交通大学，获工学博士学位，现任西安热工研究院总工程师，研究员，博士生导师。有20年从事煤气化和IGCC技术研究的经历，曾负责完成十多项国家“九五”攻关、“十五”863计划项目，曾任国家“十五”863计划能源领域洁净煤技术主题专家组专家，现任国家“十一五”863计划煤气化多联产重大专项总体专家组专家，是国家“十一五”863技术重大课题“2000t/d干煤粉加压气化技术开发”和“250MW IGCC系统试验和示范”的负责人。目前，是中国华能集团“绿色煤电”项目关键技术研究课题组组长。

Dr. Xu Shisen is Chief Engineer of Thermal Power Research Institute of China. He received doctor degree in thermal power engineering from the Xi'an Jiaotong University of P.R.China. He has 20 years of experiences on coal gasification and IGCC. He is a leader of the study projects on gasification and IGCC's key technologies that funded by Ministry of Science and Technology of China. Now he is the research group director of  reenGen” project of China Huaneng Group Corporation.
